PCYI is leading an innovative and groundbreaking collaboration with researchers from eight different partner organizations: the Peel Youth Collaborative Mental Health Research Strategy. For the first time, partners from different sectors will share in the design, analysis and dissemination of Peel-specific mental health research with our young people (ages 14-24).
The results of our mixed-methods collaborative research will provide us with an understanding of what mental health means to a diverse population of young people. It will give us insight into what is most salient to subgroups of young people in Peel in determining how they view mental health and what mental health supports they most value.
